Tsk! Lisod na TS.... Daghan nako nadunggan similar sa imong situation. My sister before, passed the exams and interview from a certain company. Ang HR Manager naa man siya lain tao epa hire, so gebalibaran akong sister sa HR Manager, and not the requesting department.

In that isolated case, fortunate for us, we approached an incumbent politician at that time, and ask for support. Na timing pod nga amigo sila sa HR Manager. Ge tawagan sa politician ang HR Manager and told him to hire my sister since she passed all the requirements and is fully qualified with the job. Mao to, na hire ako sister.

In my side, ka suway ko ug similar situation ana. I was promised lots of things to transfer to a certain company. When I eventually transferred, those sweet words were not given to me...

Lets just hide the company name as company ABC... i applied sa ila last march.. after taking the exam, i was told to go back for an interview. then after a week, gipa balik napud ko for another interview. Finally i was called again for the final interview, this time with the owner na.

by the way, sa akong resume and sa mga interviews I told them i was still employed with my current employer. It was clear gyud.

anyway, during my final interview with the owner she told me that there's another position that's vacant and she thinks i am more suitable for that position. longer working hours but the pay and commission are higher pud. so i agreed. she then asked me when i can start. i told her i will submit my RL tomorrow but since i am in sales, naa pa 2 weeks para mo turn-over sa accounts. she said why not after holy week nalang para you can take a break lang pud. so we agreed i will start on april 10, 2012. she told me to approach HR and ask for the list of requirements which i should submit when i report on my 1st day. we shook hands and she even said i'll see you on april 10.

    so i resigned.

april 4, 7PM, i got a text message from HR.. she said "we're sorry to inform you that we are withdrawing your application. sorry for the inconvenience."

i asked why, she said confidential daw and its management's decision. i said but i resigned from my current work bec i was offered a job in your company. she said wala daw sya ma buhat coz decision sa management. I said, you could have inform me earlier. she just said sorry for the inconvenience.

i find it unfair and bastos and very unprofessional. some of my friends said i can sue them for damages. but i still need a lawyer to confirm this. i have all the emails and text messages as evidence.
Wow! What the... Based on your statement, I believe you have a valid reason to sue them for damages. Glad you keep all the emails and text messages.

Expect for a lengthy and tiring process but I believe the case will be on your favor... Good luck bai and sorry to hear about your case.

advice nako nimo TS... ayaw nalang file ug kaso oi. 15k ang acceptance fee sa lawyer, mobayad paka ug 1.5-2k per hearing. Then you will face their company lawyers.

E badshot nalang na nga company. And let it be a lesson for you and for everyone else to refrain from resigning your present job if wala pay klaro ang imong e transfer nga company.

Before resigning, first sign the job offer.. if possible.

well actually, before ko ni resign i made sure gyud na naa na koy ma balhinan kay d bya lalim mu undang ka work tapos walay income. even katong cge pako gi interview i didn't submit my RL pa sa current company nkpo until sure najud akong ka balhinan. klaro na baya to na april 10 ko mag start, last min man nuon kaayo ila gi bawi. makasabot ra unta ko if i naa koy backer or something tapos ni hire nalang ko ug ahat, but it wasn't the case gyud. i was applied properly gyud, followed all the steps, passed their exam.. la gani ko ni negotiate sa akng rate. sila ra pud nag open up nga naay lain position na available na mas dako ug starting and mas ma bagay nako, thats why mao to akong gi accept. wala gyud reason for them to basta basta lang bawi kay i never demanded or gave terms or forced them to hire me.

mao sad na akong gi think na hassle na if i sue them but i believe man na dili na sakto ila gi buhat, who knows kapila na na nila gi buhat, mag think sila na ma sayon sayon ra nila mga tao cz taas ila tanaw sa ila kaugalingon kc they own the business, naa sila power. for me its wrong gyud.

dako sad baya damage nako, i mean, i was earning higher than average plus comi and free laptop and iphone.. tapos supposedly mo transfer or mangita ta lain work na mas better, kung baga, go where the grass is greener, tapos karon it turned out na back to zero ko. d sad baya any company mu hatag ana na perks kung newbie paka, mu agi paka training and all. so karon just so naa koy work and income, ma ahat ko kuha any job nalang bahala d ingon ana ka nice and dako sweldo coz i need to have an income cz d baya lalim walay trarbaho...

para pud siguro ma tagam na sila na they mess with the wrong person.

kung pwede lang jud nko ma sulti ang company name diri ako jud ikalat sa tanan post nako

and normally once madawat ka after interview, d baya na signing of contract gyud right after the interview.. sa day 1 or first day of work na baya na ang signing of contract. tapos grabeh kaayo sila kay april 4 sa gabii jud sila ni text.. holiday na baya sa april 5-9, so wala najud koy ma buhat.

ang ako lang is to fight for what i believe is my right kay d baya to pinugsanay ako, i mean f d ko nila dawaton, ok rajud, but dapat d ingon ana na bawion lang na basta basta.

by the way, i'm a "she"
