pawiks78. That sounds awesome! I live near there (Banawa). Do you happen to know the time & day sched for kickboxing?
I used to do some muai thai. Anyone know the difference between the two?
Brod, slightly different ang YY sa MT... MT rely heavily on footwork unya ang YY is built in with Filipino Martial Arts mindset. I hope this helps.
sakto ka bro there are lots of difference between YY and MT...aside from footworks...also the way they deliver their kicks and fists and aside from that YY today espicially in YY ARDIGMA CLUB...they not only focusing on kickings and boxing styles but they are very excellent now in ground fighting (grappling) and all types of lockings...and also in YY ARDIGMA they have an awesome gym...and complete sets of equipment..also they are teaching ARNIS coz d siƱor had a good background also with knife fighting.
when you see grappling they focusing in ground fighting and lockings and i think they're not practising kickings
same with BJJ...dumog is focusing on kickboxing and i think wala sad silay ground fighting.
"It sounds chinese, the movements slightly resemble that of Thai-Boxing and Korea's Tae-kwon-do but the origin is strictly Filipino."
