Ok pud. But converting text files will destroy your text and fonts formats.

Here's my solution, though I never tested it :

Convert the 2007 to an Open Document Format (ODF) http://sourceforge.net/projects/odf-converter. The converted file can now be open on Open Office Writer http://www.openoffice.org/. The Open Office Writer can save a 2003 Office Format. The good things are that these software are all open-source.

You cannot open MSoffice 2007 documents in any previous version of MSOffice. unless you download the appropriate updates from microsoft. if there is one as of this time.

You will also notice that MSO 2007 has a new file extension like docx for MSWord since Office is adopting a new document format based on xml.

as what i have read in this discussion its possible to open MSO2003 documents in MSO XP because they have the same document format introduce in Office 97. that is why when you save documents in MSO 2003 there is an option there to save your document is 97-2003 format.

naa na sila update nga compatibility of MSO 2007 for MSO 2003 but still it won't work. Nag-email nako sa microsoft but wala pa moanser.
