Kobe would win it if "MVP" is taken literally. but it always goes to the top 1 or 2 teams, so it's either Lebron or KD. not that Lebron or KD don't deserve it but if you take them out of their teams, the Heat would still be a top 3 team in the East with Wade and Bosh. OKC without Durant would still be a top 5 team with Harden, Westbrook, Ibaka etc.

take Kobe out of the Lakers though and they become a 7th or 8th seeded team. old as he is and no longer as consistent, he still strikes fear in the hearts of his opponents. without him other teams won't have to be afraid and will just double the hell out of Bynum and bully Gasol.

but MVP's goes to the best player on the team with the best record, so it's either James or KD. Rose has only a slight chance of repeating since he's been too injured. James would win but he is too hated, so it might be Kevin Durant.
