currently two mod chips i know: Wiinja and Cyclowiz with the latter already being shipped. Winja needs 5-wire soldering and Cyclowiz is quick solder -- just align the chip with the board and solder.

check out youtube and see for yourself. a lot of people are posting videos of their successful modchip operations.

on top of that, it's a fact that Wii's wireless remote controllers can work on PC's with bluetooth receivers. The drivers are on beta stages right now and using wiimote to control your mouse is yet impractical but it already works by just using its built-in gyro sensors. What they're still trying to work is how to use the infrared sensor on the wiimote since it is responsible for pointing controls.

Meron pero ang ginagamit ang yung special media (those discs which are the same size as the originals). Wala lang nagbebenta ng case with modified lid na pwede gamitan ng regular size dvdr media.

    Got this off another forum

I know it's still a little early to talk about this, but I was curious if anyone has personally tested the mod chips out. I bought my wii on black friday so I know it will work with the mod chips.

As of now there are 3 mod chips.

This is all just by looking at the specifications from all three sites. I have not tested any mod chips. I would love to test them out, but I would need to get 2 other Wii's. As of now no chip is able to play import wii games. They are however able to play GC games with a swap method, but I am curious as to how you can swap. I am currently leaning towards the CycloWiz because you can install a switch so that you can only flash it when the switch is on, once it's in the off position it can't be flashed. I like this idea, because the chip can't accidentally be flashed. My only concern now is what will happen with the online games and such. How will that come into play.
Well we will just have to wait and see. I plan to get a mod chip once all three have been tested and reviewed. I would love to do it, but don't have the extra cash for 2 more wii's and 3 mod chips.
