maka himo man sad ka ug vectors sa photoshop... vexel... ahehe... pero kung adto ka maghimo sa photoshop kay dako au ang file.. unlike sa illustrator na mogamay na xa kay vectors man... unlike sa photoshop na pixel...

Illustrator kay kasagaran vectors just like what others said. More with lines, shapes,etc.
Photoshop is basically used for image enhancement, photo editing ug pwede pd vectors and vexel art dri.

if ur planning to make designs para shirt printing, nya pang.NA imo trip, i.sketch-scan-nya limpyuhi and finalized ang color sa illustrator. hope this helps.

I've been using both for web designing. For example I do slicing in photoshop. As for the design itself I do crossovers. There are things that I can easily do in photoshop and sames goes for illustrator. You can do vectors in both software but illustrator is made for that.

Illustrator is a vector base software while photoshop is pixel base. if you don't understand what i'm saying then you can visit google.com then type vector and pixel.
