Mandaue as a lone district

Yes it is correct that mandaue should have a lone district But!

To all the readers of this thread....do you agree that Mandaue should have a lone district at the expense of leaving out Consolacion and Cordova?

To my understanding of the link it says that if Mandaue will be given a lone district then Consolacion and Cordova will be left out with no district .... as this 2 municipality will not satisfy the requirement for a congressional district....

Is mandaue gonna be selfish and leave these other municipalities alone just for the sake of having a lone district? You be the judge...

there are more than 16 lone congressional dstricts in the country today ... that do not meet the population requirement ...
why can't BOLAY-OG work with these precedents to solve the problem of Consolacio/Cordova ... ... if they can do it why can't he ... ?! ...

BOLAY-OG if he is truly my Mandaue's representative ... and if he acknowledges his part in the wrong done to my City ... should use the precedents of these 16 congressional districts that do not meet the lone requirement ... for the Consolacion/Cordova question ... and at long last make my Mandaue a Lone Congressional District ...

hahaha...nalingaw ko sa imung answer boss rec....and it comes clear to me nga ang imung reklamo really is not about Mandaue being with the other municipality as a congressional district but rather the presence of Quisumbing as your congressman ....

And it comes clear to me too nga wala kay paki unsay mahitabo sa Cordova and Consolacion as long as Naa moy Lone district as stated in this quote:

Id like to add again that if ever this happens... Cordova and Consolacion will have no congressman and as a result...

Wala nay makabuhat ug bill sa congress para mapa improve ang Living condition sa mga taga Cordova and taga Consolacion. Because although naa ni income nga mga municipality let us not forget nga pwerti tawn gamaya and is clearly not enough. But kung naa ni sila congressman, then that congressman can file a bill for infrastructures like Hospitals, roads, flyovers etc. in which the fund will come from the National Government.

Again akong stand is walay lalis nga angay jud ni ma lone district ang mandaue. But as to the point of whos to blame for this maybe not all the blame must be given to quisumbing...Why? cause as you said, mandaue was legitimate to have a lone district since 1993. Nganung ang katong congressman pag 1993 - 2009 (before pa ni file ug lone district ang Lapu lapu) wala mani nila gi pursue? If they did pursue this before 2009 then Mandaue could have had a lone district, leaving a congressional district for lapu lapu, consolacion and Cordova. In that case wala tay problema ang cordova and consolacion nga mawagtangan ug Congressman.

please ask your BOLAY-OG ... why up to now he hasn't sat down with the duly elected leaders of the 6th district LGUs for consultations on how this problem could be resolved ... ? ... does this mean that BOLAY-OG has the monopoly of logical and GOOD thoughts for the 6th district ... ? !!! ... can it be that BOLAY-OG thinks very highly of his discerning powers that it is beneath him to consult with local leaders for their thoughts and ideas ... ?!

on a personal note ... when there are at least 16 congressional districts in the country that do not comply with the population requirement ... can't BOLAY-OG use this argument in congress to rectify the 20 year wrong ... to give voice to the almost 400,000 Mandauehanons ... ?! ...
