i think they have a cause not just for getting the world record...

    Jam for a cause

Proceeds of the event will fund the construction of the Bacolod Disaster Preparedness Center and the production of disaster kits and survival manuals to be distributed in the city.

Golez said the "Jam Step" participants wish to donate the bottled water they were provided to the children in Guihulngan City who were affected by a magnitude-6.9 earthquake last February 6.

Remember the 7,770 people who filled Abellana for that Guinness record? What did that achieve other than showing off? At least Bacolod's act was worth something.

Time for Ed Hayco to learn from Bacolod.

honestly, im really tired of this kind of activities where we want to be in the guiness book of world records for the most number of blah blah blah or for the longest blah blah blah. i dunno.... if china would just tell there people to do something then they always have the most number of blah blah blah and no one could defeat them. of cors u have to do what u have to do but i dont see any difference coz people dont really appeciate that kind of activities. if u do something then dont bother to be in the guiness book of world record. just do what u have to do and people will appreciate and will be remembered of what u did rather than ur in the guiness.

lage, i don't know what is wrong with people in Cebu City Sports Commission. they seemed to be more inclined to set a world record than real development of athletes on grassroots program.
