OT lang ko- @jackdi, unsa nang OEC diay?
===========
Marius, I'm an OFW. But I do not share your sentiments and frustration because I take charge of whatever happens to me and not blame any govenment agency. We have the power to change things. You and I have power to change things and not allow things to happen or can make things happen. I will get what I want and "fight" for it, tooth and nail if need be. The world is unjust and not fair, we can live with it or against it. Whatever happens to us is our own doing.
Those in the government are also persons with feelings and human. They are also Filipinos. The trick is how do we get them to our side. I have seen the arrogance of 60% of the OFW's as I observed them. They get what they deserve - a negative reaction. Thus for every action there is always an opposite and equal reaction. If you show good, you will get goodness in return. If you show good and get harshness, then you have the power to correct it whether you know it or not.
Do I get harshness, rejection? yes I do. Do I take it against them? No. But I will make sure I get what I want, whether they are harsh or not. You will see what I mean as this thread unfolds.
OEC - Overseas Exit Clearance.
Usa ni sa beneficio sa usa ka OWWA/POEA registered OFW.
With OEC, free ang travel tax and terminal fee from Philippine Airports in going abroad.
50% off pod from the travel tax ang imong wife og mga anak.
Paliton noon ni siya from the OWWA/Phil Embassy. But if dili ka OWWA member, dili pod ka kakapalit ani.
Pero if mo-travel ka og kausa within 2 years time, bawi na nimo ang cost ani.
Let alone if mo-travel (uli) ka 4 times a year....
Nice, di bah..
To my fellow OFW
I have risked my job/career going for the unknown, come back in the Philippines and bring-in a technology and start a life. I don't want to be there forever outside of the country - there is nothing like our beloved country.. I am now fighting for my re-integration loan with OWWA/Landbank for my business venture - If I can get this loan, I can help many more of our people to be highly productive and efficient. There is no need for greed and hunger in our country. All the things we need are there. Vietnam is producing 5 Billions USD in fish export without sending a single OFW-there is a big big business out there for export of fish. We just cannot be that stupid and let Vietnam and our neighbors take hold of it. Let's get together and strengthen our beloved Philippines...can you help me?
boss esoy,
unsa man imo plano na negosyo ?fishpond? have you already tried loaning in landbank? i hope that your businessloan will push through kay you are not thinking of yourself but for the good of the community...and that the concerned Govt. agencies will
approve your loan.
the biggest obstacle now is landbank, and i might consider suing them at the ombudsman for economic sabotage, delaying the release of money of ofw's - incompetence due to the very long processing time and not knowing the technology of the business. Need some inputs from other ofw's as i build my case. If there are ofW'S who can support not in words or hopes but in action, we are going to use the power of the internet to expose incompetence, to reach the 4 corners of the world. If i could get my loan approved - then the technology could be used as "copy & paste" now i know why we are so poor-our country is so poor not because we do not know(LACKING IN KNOWLEDGE) but because of the incompetence of people in position and blocking the flow of money because of their incomptence. Money flow speeds up economic development. Slow down the money you stifle the growth. It is the lifeblood. This is a good test case and see how the ofw's can work together- either lukewarm ofw or full red blooded fighting filipino. BSP is telling Aquino to spend more, what better way to spend but release by money of the OFW's!!!
I wish to establish a process here - that will be for any other problems ofw's encounter while putting my neck on the line.
Boss Emow,
Dili jud tawn sayon ang manglangyaw para makatrabaho... layo kayao sa family. But still, need man ta mokayod. Og bisan ingon pa ang akong sitwasyon, I am a proud OFW. (char)
Sorry, I strongly believe that you got it wrong.
OFW's are exempted from paying travel taxes.
Logically, ang word "exempted" does not mean nga ipasa sa other tax payers ang burden to pay.
