Actually, it's a Philippines backed color revolt, Flanker. The Philippines are the cause of all of the problems in the entire world. The spin doctors here have done a great job convincing you that EVERTHING is the fault of the West (specifically the USA), when in reality it has been the evil RP all along. A downright amazing deception, indeed..

(Even in jest, how does it feel having your country knocked about, Flanks?)

How about first convincing me (and other Istoryans) that the west is backing the unrest in Iran? And please define "backing" while you're at it...

backing - supported financially such as organized rallies, planned operations (CIA), etc just to change the regime.

Ah, now I see... You're of the opinion that it was a covert US operation that triggered the demonstrations and unrest in Iran these past couple of days? (isn't that the topic of this thread?) How on earth did they have time to do that? In case you haven't noticed, Iran is not an open society. International journalists weren't allowed in, the elections weren't open to independent scrutiny and the internet was censored/controlled by the government in the aftermath of the election. The US backed such actions? Doesn't seem to be in the best interest of the West, does it? As for changing the regime... I, for one, would be quite happy if Iran leaned a bit toward Western idealogies such as equal rights for women and other basic human rights. But how on earth is that gonna happen under Ahmadinejad? His days may be numbered without any meddling from the West, and any changes will come from within by the will of the Iranian people.

lets just wait and see till its over. as of now thats my suspicion.. coz the revolutions above i mentioned are similar.

how can you say the US is not interested on Iran? oh please.. you dont know what you're talking about. GTFOH
