hi, i was browsing photography section but havent seen a topic for newbies

but anyway, i am thinking of taking photography as a hobby .


unsa may nindot cam for beginners like me

Mura daghan naman ni comments but wala may nitubag unsa na Cam gamitun...
Btaw basaha lang to 2nd Reply or 3rd ba to...naa didtu maka help to ug decide...

As for for Newbie same as me, ako na experience is dile gyud needed na super expensive imo camera specially newbie. I advice go for Dslr's camera since flexible and full control ka. Nikon D3000 or Nikon3100 is not bad or any brand.

Coz if newbie paman gud ta daghan kaayu ta clicky....trial and error and since naa shutter limit ang dslr so mas maayu cheaper lang usa although pwede ma repair. But if budget is not a problemo... then pwede ka mo go sa mahalon. Thats my 2 cents.

For those who are torn between which camera to select, Canon or Nikon? Or Perhaps Sony?

Kana nga pangutana ang ikaw ra jud makatubag, it's like a car, naa ka brand preference, and just like a car, naa sila difference.

To help you decide, i'll just compare Canon and Nikon Cameras.

Quality of Shots:

Canon - more soft tone
Nikon - brighter images

Recommendations: that depends on your preference, if you like medyo soft ang imo pictures, then go to Canon, or if you like more brighter ang color sa imoha pix then go to Nikon.

Price:

Some say mas mahal ang Nikon compared to Canon, some would disagree, I guess it depends asa ka mopalit. But diha sa Pinas or even in abroad, there are more Canon stores compared to Nikon. Specially diha sa Pinas, you can find Canon lens easier compared to Nikon lens. And Canon lens are a little bit cheaper when it comes to the lenses.

So, these are the basic things I can share to you about the two camera.

But what do I recommend? Try using both camera, find a friend who owns a Canon camera and try to shoot and ask for the copy of your shot, then borrow a Nikon camera from your other friend, shoot and copy your shots. Compare and see which one do you like better.

I am using Nikon because I love the color brightness it gives me.

But then again, it's a personal preference.

It's either sayun tubagon or lisod tubagon ang pangutana niya on what cam to start with
kay it's not about the gear
And sa ka daghan na kaayo ask nako ako friend's or a friend's friend what cam to buy or get
I dont usually give direct answers kay sa ka daghan camera diha I'm sure there are lots of answers

Kay I usually ask why man mag photography(?) then anha nako murecommend ug camera

or if you have much dough to burn and wanted to look wickedly cool with a cam then go buy a canon mark series or a nikon Dx or if you wanted to push your coolness (and burn more money) then go for a hasselblad kanang bayi ug laki para sure gyud. heheh

or if you're just an enthusiast on a budget then go for the cheaper one's
or if pang business than go for the durable one's you can afford.

akong bottomline for the TS is
go for the ones suited to your real intentions in photography
you should get your money's worth for something worth having w/o sacrificing practicality
