a Toshiba Dynabook X205 19inch gaming laptop i tried tearing down coz the owner wants to have it serviced ky grabe daw kainit og ma pawong ang computer kung init na kaau

i suggest you read my thread that i posted more than a year ago

and try to observe how i always use masking tape pra ma tape ang screws sa chassis ky bacin malibog nya ta which screw would go into what hole once ibalik na nato ang system after the fix... mao ni ako nabantayan sa ubang technician d na kamao asa ibalik ang screws... take not that the screws for the laptop are different in sizes and lengths.

@TS, as I have sent you a PM, since mag open naman ka ana, aside sa limpyo and thermal paste replacement sa processor, ang thermal gum sa video card basin kaging napud. wala ra ba baligya thermal gum thats why we have to modify. naa pa koy thermalright the thermal paste diri ug gelid thermal paste para dili dayun ma uga

@ mike, what I like about the vaio kai ang copper heatsinks ge separate, lain sa video card, ang lain pud sa processor then mag meet lang sila sa unahan. ang hp/compaq kai ge usa raman. the copper heatsink will be coming from the processor then mu hapit sa video card then out to exhaust. sa lima ka hp na akong na ukab, mao ra jud ug design sa copper heatsink

mao ni ilang design mike, no. 3 is where the processor, so ang init adds up going to no. 2, where the video card is located so init na kaayo

sakto ka diha bem. cost cutting man jud ang mga manufacturers mao na gi-usa na lang ang heatsink from procie to gpu... or probably design wise para magamay ang overall size sa system... but not a very good design sa cooling

Mao niy prob sa mga manufacturer mag cost cutting sila then the quality of their products will be turn loose. Mao niy issue sa HP/Compaq mao karon daghan ug return ilang laptop product.
