Yup, been waiting for something like this instead of using PCI/PCIe SATA port cards.

Its been said that this provides a shorter trace route to the modules it self improving latency.

the rams are on both sides bec. the IMC is quad-channel...two for each side of the processor...putting all the rams together in one location would lengthen trace routes affecting latencies & crosstalk...


there are two motherboards ready for release...DX79SI(Siler) which will have an LGA2011 socket & DX79TO(Thorsby) which will have an LGA1366 socket...wait lang ta...

would'nt it be pointless for these boards to be released at the end of the year, and the processors Q1? unsaon man naay board nya walay proc to put it in to.

i think dungan2x gyud ni sila nov or dec like their X58 boards
