@Cabrill: my bad about that "last statement thing" I didn't get it right.

Yes, some countries have legality about Euthanasia.

But if naa patient mu request nga "Euthanasia".. will MD's permit it?

ok, wat i mean is kanang mo administer ug drugs nga maka patay sa patient dayon, even nag sign cla consent, as wat reginakrys posted passive measures lang ang mahatag,di gihapon na pwedi...

yes they will permit it but ang allow ra sa ato kay kanang DNR ( DO NOT RESUSCITATE) or withdrawal of medical regimen...

I am a pro-life but mercy killing is like you chose to end it the person life before GOD called his time.

for me peenut, I am against with it...

this is the thing I cant do especially to comatose person, but what if MONEY is the problem that you could no longer extend life beyond unreasonable reason.

Licod mo patay ug taw, pero if ang kwarta mismo wala ka.. then dili kow mag ipokrita na mo resort jud kowg mercy killing like terminal illness na walay pag asa.....

Pro-life I do belief but if situations are in need for that.. Then I must give in.

this decision maybe not right for you but then, it is right for my situation..

Yea. it's beyond our conscience to kill.
But if ang patient kai di na jud niya kaya, labi nang wala na pag-asa.. mu give way nlng jud sa euthanasia

Then naa possiblity nga if ato pugson ato self even if nga mahal kaayo ang medicine dayon mamatay ra gihapon after pila ka days...kita gihapon mu suffer..

i guess the best person to ask this would be the patient himself/herself. secondary ang iyang significant others, i.e. the family, friends, relatives og uban pang loved ones.

but then when a person has still hope for life, he/she would cling to it.

even when the patient loses his/her hope, for sure ang iyang family wouldn't want to give up, as long as love nila ang patient og wa lang sila maghuna huna sa sakripisyo og gasto/utang.

they've come a long way and sacrificed a lot for the suffering. anybody would be willing to give up just anything just to extend even a day of a person's life.

i'm also pro-life. when i'm a doctor, even when the patient requests it i will never enforce euthanasia. even if the person begs for it.

it's not that i want the person to suffer, but where is mercy when you kill someone "out of mercy"?

murder is murder. period. no ifs, no buts. let God decide when to end his/her life. it will come. as a human who has compassion, love and for the person who was given the ability to help save a person's life, mao rana iyang role.

they should just do what they can. it's their only job description. after all, they're doctors/medical professionel, not murderers.

i remember my aunt who was 5 months comatose. taman ras twitching of muscles ang makaya, she couldn't open her eyes, she was on life support, resuscitator, tanan daghan kaayog gi kabit sa iyang body just to survive. kon ibton ang plug, yatap. hehe we saw her suffer. but then let God do His will lage. she was actually getting better, adto na siya gi "hospitalize" sa balay complete mi og gamit, oxygen, etc. nag brownout bitaw na for 12 hours! na corner mi sa sitwasyon. that time naglisod na jud siya, she needed some suction coz naglisod og ginhawa kay barado ang airway. unya kay wa may korente. but she had no fever, whatsoever. niabot lang gyud ang time and circumstances. but kami as a family would do anything we could to save her. bahala pag ibaligya ang mga katigayunan ehehehe

anti - nanO man? kai gpadaKu man ko na matinud anOn sa atoNg pagtu-o kanuhaY.. nya usa sad if ang taw ga suffer kai nahan pa jud cya mabuhi nganO gud tawng atong tiwasaN..

Taking another person's life would never become ethical, simply we do not have the right, for life did not start merely from their parents, it's been started an eon and is being continued, nothing should end life but only life itself............

mercy killing is honarable for me.... why let a fellow man suffer more... if their truly is a god, he would never allow so much suffering which there are no more chance of survival.. a god that allows prolonged agony is douchebag... mo na inu ginoo?...

taking lives for the purpose of improving ones own or that of others is acceptable..
the ends justify the means.. if your at the wrong end of the barrel.. sorry na lang brad..
