Unless we can magically educate the masses into thinking, productive members of society it will be an uphill battle even for small progress. A quick fix..... maybe only allow taxpayers to vote in either local or national elections? That way pandering to squatters will cease and effective policies will draw votes on a level playing field.

There is always a hope. One solution would be the great purging. Means that we have to eliminate bad elements in our country that causes our suffering. Such as criminals, corrupt politicians and public employees, and hoodlums in robes and law-breaker law enforcers.

The Khmer Rouge started with a similar philosophy and progressed to teachers, doctors, journalists.... in fact anybody they didn't like the look of.

I actually think it may not be a bad idea to invite the UN to clean up our system and prosecute whoever they reveal as a plunderer.

That's what is fair but it won't happen kai mag riot riot nang mga squatter hahaha. Mawad-an na og puwesto ang ilahang mga coddler sa gobyerno.

I'd go further and only allow college educated people to vote. A businessman's vote should count x10 arun daghan ma-encourage mu sulod og negosyo kaysa mag sige og pangayo og minimum wage hike nga murag mga buang kai gi-ihaw na ta sa atoang mga kumpetensya sa Indonesia, China og Vietnam nya magsige gihapon og pangayo og minimum wage increase..

since you mentioned this, i would like to add

    Filipinos are best in imitating
    Filipinos are best in piracy
    Filipinos are best in corruption

    let's not deny these facts?

what can we do to stop this negativity? we need a president like marcos!

i'm not a fan, but i believe traits of marcos can be a major solution for the country's progress

as of now, i see no hope for this rotten country, being run by rotten politicians
