    b. I do very much wish not to touch on this "religious" stuff - but just cannot help to separate the body from soul from the mind. If people are not guided(proper care and nutrition) about their body - where the soul/spirit resides - what mind shall they have? You can see that in 60% of the Filipinos? Thus making this country a hopeless case.

The chinese knew these thousands of years ago, balance (yin-yang)of the mind-body-spirit. A corrupted body results in corrupted mind even if the spirit/soul does not agree.
    a. Would it not be better to teach people to use common sense and moderation so they can make a diet that is both enjoyable and helps them be healthy?

    b. i choose not to engage any discussion in any religious stuff nor the connection of "body from soul from the mind". its really beyond my belief.

    a. Common sense is very uncommon, and what is common to you may not be common to me.
    b. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak -

Food or medicine intake compatibility with blood type. Each person has a compatible food with his blood type and there are books written about it and perhaps in the internet already. But how can you find out if a certain food is good and not good for you?

Try to find out using kinesiology (hope I spelled that right). I picked this up from an "Indian" book years ago. To verify you need a partner to work with. Put a sample(food) in your left hand and place it over your heart. Raise your right hand to the side and ask your partner to push it down. If you cannot resist the downward force - it is not good for you, if you can resist it is good for you. Try it with different substances, fruits, alcohol, coffee, sugar, molases, honey, vinegar etc., let us know - you will discover some things you never knew before, like some fruits are not compatible with your blood type. Some herbs, spices are not compatible with you - depending on your blood type, try and find out and let us know.

Notes : a. make sure you remove all metallic objects around your body - watches, cell phones, rings, bracelets, coins, etc.,
    b. make sure you clean your hands before getting a sample in your palm - to avoid cross contamination, especially when changing specimens or samples...
    c. One indication that the food you ate was not good for you is that you will feel weak instead of envigorated after eating. Too much eating will also cause you to feel weak.
    d. From the Indian book - if you want to live long - eat less...

Herbs and spices - another God given cure for our transgressions - If only we can propagate Ginseng - or Korean Ginseng - For a lifetime of mine- I had been sneezing almost every morning after waking up, after 2 months of drinking it I was relieved. That was the last solution I could think of that made that drastic change in my life..unfortunately - it is expensive and in small bottles. That is one very nice herb - apart from tumeric, cummins, methi, cinnamon, curry, coriander, mustard, fennel, ...tumeric - natural antiseptic and anti-bacterial, stop prostate cancer(??) prevent breast cancer, melanoma, reduce risk of childhood leukemia, natural liver detoxifier, prevent alzheimers disease, prevent metastases from occuring in many different forms of cancer, anti-inflmatory, slows the progression of multiple sclerosis in mice, natural painkiller, cox-2 inhibitor, may aid in fat metabolism and help in weight management, long been used in Chinese Medicine - to treat depression, natural treatment for arthritis and rheumatoid arthiritis, boosts the effects of chemo-drug paclitaxel and reducers its side effects, promising studies are underway on the effects of turmeric on pancreatic cancer, on going studies in positive effects of tumeric on multiple myeloma, has been shown to stop the growth of new blood vessels in tumors, speeds up wound healing and assist in remodeling of damaged skin, may help in the treatment of psoriasis and other inflamatory skin conditions...after knowing all these that turmeric can do, you be amazed what it can do when mixed in "valenciana" and how tasty it is..

Temptations of the flesh - sugar - so sweet and yummy yet so deadly -- it's like smoking, the effects are felt years later - somehow, the enjoyment of it is something very difficult to overcome, by the way, it is the "refined-sugar" that is deadly - a slow attrition of the body. Doctors are all well aware of that..., the silent treacherous killer... take brown sugar instead...or better still molases...or honey...
