hi!
i'l be going there solo this weekend. i realy want to explore bucas grande/sohoton but i jus cant afford to hire a banca all for myself, so im hoping i can join group tours or meet anyone planing to go to bucas grande and we can split the tab.
any idea how many hours travel time from surigao city to bislig? how much is the fare? and bus schedule?
thanks!

i together with a friend explored bucas grande last 2006 without that much budget brah. from siargao we were on our way to lanuza passing by socorro when we talked to some locals and heard about bucas grande national park. wala man mi budget to rent a pump boat so we asked around and found other options. trek, yup we trekked our way to bucas grande. dili man layu, 3 hours lang and you will pass by very nice and challenging trail so lingaw jud, pag abot didto nag rent na mi ug gamay na pump boat to go around. we ended up spending the night there because the place was so beautiful, the following day, we trekked back to socorro and went on with our trip to lanuza, since that time nag balik balik na ko sa suhoton and last year was my 4th time
from socorro mag habal habal ka padung baranggay san jose mao na cya jump off point. look for baranggay captain miro atoc, he can help you look for a guide.
have fun brad!!
