Ocean Bay Beach Resort (Dalaguete, Cebu) - Naka-promise gyud ko sa akong kaugalingon ug sa mga tawo didto nga di na gyud ko mobalik.
Reservation - We called 1 week prior to arrival date for reservation. When we called again 2 days before, wala mi ma-reserve. Maayo gani kay dili sila fully booked. (We knew why they are not fully booked this summer when we personally went there).
Room - We reserved Family Room 2 and Family Room 3. We had to settle for Standard Rooms kay puwerteeeeeng bati-a! Ganindot lang picture sa website. Bare kaayo unya bahong dunot. Puwera gaba! Amo pa gyud standard room kay stuck up ang drain sa banyo, ngitngiiiiit kaayo ang suga (you can't read coz of the dim lighting), unya buslot pa gyud ang atop duol sa aircon.
Extra Bed - Dili man to bed... matress ra man nga hastang nipisa. Mura ra'g banig.
Food - We were told that their restaurant opens at 7am. Nalipay mi kay maka-order diay mi breakfast. Napasmo na lang mi kay 7:30 mingaw pa kaayo. Ang ilang mga taw diay kay tu-a ra sa luyo. Rice pa gyud nila, mura'g price sa 5-star. One cup tag P27! Palit na lang mi sa poblacion every meal. Barato na, lami pa gyud!
Amenities - Per website, naa'y karaoke bar. Wala diay to.
Beach - Sa website, mura'g white ang beach... dili man.
Pool - Maayo gani kay nalingaw akong mga anak sa pool. Kun wala pa, pauli gyud mi the day we arrived.

Kun ako'y pangutan-on, dili ko mo-recommend. Maypa adto mo Aqua Cainta sa Mohon, Talisay.

@oceanbaybeachresort - you basically admitted that your rooms are crap, and you still got the nerve to say that its a private resort with and International restaurant. LOL what the hecks wrong with you.

@oceanbaybeachresort: i included you in my list sa amo adtohan with my family and relatives from luzon... concerned ko sa inyo services. which would be the reason to cross you out in my list. they would actually come for my wedding and i was very impressed sana sa mga pictures that you had posted on the wall. nways, if you are the management(manager) you should have known what happened to the visitors who had already posted the complaints. beforehand as well you should let someone inspect those rooms before the guest will occupy. i dont think the price is worth it for a crappy room. you said its in $$$ but the services renderaed, quality is not $$$ for them.. sad...

ok ra baya ang ocean bay for 1st timers but not worthy balikan.. i had same experience pod before kay amazed kaayo ko sa ila website nindot ang place but to my dismay wa gyud mi malingaw sa dagat kay batoon samad samad gyud ang agi pun an pa sa daghang sagbot nya naa patoy bangka nga gi repair ato na time so ang ila beach front na occupy sa bangka.. pero nindot ang pool kay bisag init kaayo nindot kaligoan kay covered man..

If e based nako sa ila location....kuyaw para sa mga bata kay pang2x man gud...den ila beach kay batoon then kusog ang current kuyaw kaau...room rates medyo mahal ra..nice view man cya but not worht to spend 2k-4k plus... dghan man beach sa dalaguete pud like sa ocean bay duol2x rana cla....naa discount istoryan members didto 10-20% depende na. dli cla strikto madala hangyo. maka recommend ko ocean bay kaysa sa dakong bato..safe man didto gud.
