X series is what Intel calls Extreme Performance or for the Enthusiast market while P series is the plain Performance model, dont confuse the chipsets with the actual CPU architecture.
You cant say "P series or Sandy Bridge" since its a processor and a chipset compared.

No, not really unless you consider PCIe 3.0 to be "that much of a next generation" chipsets these days on Intel's side only provide signal routing for the PCIe lanes and also provide a few lanes since the MC is already inside the CPU.
You really need to fix this broken knowledge of yours or just stop trolling.
