@TS: sakto jud na ilang mga advise brad. when I bought my first dslr, a nikon d3000, nipalit sad dayon ko'g 50mm 1.8 kay mao jud kasagran nga recommendation di lang dri but sa uban sad nga forums. at first naglisod ko adjust kay di man siya mo-AF sa D3k, but eventually brad mas paspas ka makat-on kung manual fcousing ka pirmi kaysa magsalig sa AF.

for months akong gamit kitlens ra jud and 50mm, sakto nang ilang ingon nga kadugayan you'll know for yourself what lens you really want to buy next. ako wa kaayo ko nabitin sa zoom sa kit, mas nabitin ko sa iyang sharpness. mao nga i-decided to go all prime or at the very least f2.8 zoom lenses (akong target karon 17-70mm 2.8 and 35mm. then kung makabunal og insik ari ko sa 10-24mm, hehe).

shoot like crazy lang sa brad. then for every picture you take be critical, determine kung unsay ganahan nimo sa imong shot, unsay feel nimo nga kulang, and kung ana ba jud nga shots imong gusto. give it a few months, I assure you by then di na ka maglibog.
