if your are really in need now to handle the business of your father then it's a great opportunity but for me, if I were you I will enroll maybe even 8 to 10 units for my personal investments as well, I mean knowledge and after is a degree...
it is always good to have a degree even if you are a President of a certain company...

It's worth to wait. Educate yourself first and get your degree.

It's always good to finish on what you have started.

    Make sense?

Default Business Opportunity or Educational Degree?

it does make sense gloryhunter. quick bucks goes to pushing, or something illegal, no offense meant but that's the truth. quick bucks is totally incongruent to a decent job.

diskarte is such an ambiguous term. stealing is also diskarte, borrowing is also diskarte, but can't raise much money for a capital kung ang diskarte is dishwashing sa restaurant, kay wla man ka degree!!! not unless you came from a filthy rich family who can throw-in a kewl million for a start up capital, a degree is no longer necessary.

here's the picture, if you own a business, ofcourse, you have employees, you will be hiring them, "SELECTING THE BEST" right? and for you, who do you think are the best? of course, those who has good degrees!!! admit it! it may not be true kung kargador or taga bantay ng tindahan pangita nimo. but if your in a business that require's a knowledge-builders, sad to say, you have to hire somebody more intelligent than you are!

"diskarte" did not just fall from heaven and hit you on the head and granted you infinite wisdom, it is something you "LEARNED". it is in formal education that we get the start-up, the ramp-up of everything. in school we not only learn from our teachers, we have our classmates, who in a greater sense, contributes on who and where we are now!

don't tell me you learned to read, write, count by yourself? if somebody taught you, consider him your "TEACHER"!!!

education may come in numerous ways, formal-like in school, informal-experience in a daily bases! and the likes.

you cannot formulate your own diskarte, most often than not, you learned it from somebody, or you could have thought of some kind through another's technique.

our brain is not an infinite source of wisdom and knowledge, it is a storage! data should come from else where. it may take diff forms, interpreted in diff meanings or languages, but everything boils down to being learned!!!

    peace out!

Default Business Opportunity or Educational Degree?

A boy just got out from the orphanage. He spent weeks alone and nothing to eat. One day, he decided to go to church and offer his prayers. When done, he quickly got up but a shiny coin caught his eye. He picked it up and hurried to a nearby store. He originally planned to buy bread but suddenly decided to buy the tempting red apple displayed on a cart. When he succeeded to own the apple a thought came across his mind. He then went to knock at the windows of autos waiting for the traffic light to turn green. Finally somebody took pity of him and bought his apple. He then hurried back to the cart and buy another apple. He did this everyday. A few weeks later, he was able to make his own cart and sold a dozen of apples. This multiplied and in months he was able to sell a carton of apples. He became very wise and sold cartons of apples. The boy grew up selling thousands of apples and was able to put up his little convenient store. He invested more and more and his money multiplied making him rich. At the age of 30, he became a millionaire. His life flourished... got married and produced offsprings. He invested his money in different types of business for his family. Now that he's old, he had his lawyer prepare his Last Will. The lawyer handed in the documents for him to fill out. *squish* *squish* went the ink of the pen all over the paper. Confused. The lawyer asked, "Boss, which part of the statement did you not agree?". The millionaire answered, "Attorney, up til now, I still am an orphan. I never learned to read and write. I'm sorry if I do not know how to sign that document you prepared for me." "Boss, you don't have to say sorry. I do understand. But wow, if you would've gotten to school, you could be a billionaire now," replied the lawyer. The millionaire remained quite. The lawyer apologized for his big mouth but the millionaire stopped him. "Attorney, please don't. You see, if I had the chance to go to school when I was young... I will become a lawyer indeed... working for a rich man like me!"

Default Business Opportunity or Educational Degree?

I say you should take an Educational Degree first.

This would not only be for yourself, but for your future family as well. I believe well educated parents can grow well educated children. We always want the best for our families, right?

And what's the hurry? Your father gave the offer, that means he can still give you the business the very moment you graduated and acquired a degree.

    Win-Win solution! he-he-he!
