No need na nga i require ang Good works kay if naa kay tinuod nga pagtuo, natural na nga mubuhat ka ug maayu. Kay if you will say Good work is a requirement, dunay man gud chance nga ang tawo mubuhat ug maayu bisag walay Faith - mao wala na apila kay naay chance magka conflict. Pero di ka makasulti ana about Faith kay di mana ma apply nga sitwasyun.

Ug Dunay sitwasyun nga ang isa ka tawo walay time, capability, or chance para makabuhat ug maayu pero tanan tawo dunay juy chance to have Faith kay ang Faith naa man sa Huna huna ug pagbati.

No. Faith ALONE cannot save you.

1Co 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

FAITH is accompanied by WORKS. FAITH without WORK is nothing.
Jas 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Important things in Salvation: FAITH, HOPE and Charity(Love). and the greatest is Charity(LOVE).
1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Good work is a manifestation of true Faith.
If you have true faith, good works will follow. That's why Good works is Not indicated or mentioned as a requirement because its automatic if you have true faith in God.
Good work is a manifestation of true faith and this is correct. but not all the time that faith will give you an effortless life that is free from sin because we have to work to obtain our salvation according the bible. faith that we have will be tested on how you resist , endure and fight temptation to commit sin and it implies that faith should be supported by good works. In this case we can say that Faith and good works are one and both are inseparable requirements to obtain salvation as what the bible say. In fact St. Paul said that mature christian should endure until the end of time no matter what to obtain salvation. That word alone from St. Paul is a clear indication that faith alone is not justifiable.

To know the message of the bible should consider the entirety of its message. In this way you can reconcile the message that looks like contradictory to each other not just focusing on verses that suit the doctrine while rejecting the rest that contradicts.

    since evangelical adheres to sola scriptura and so we will consult the bible;

Sir. 35:19; Luke 23:41; John 3:19-21, Rom. 8:13, 2 Tim 4:14, Titus 3:8,14, Rev. 22:12 - these verses also teach us that we all will be judged by God according to our deeds. There is no distinction between the "saved" and the "unsaved."

1 Cor. 3:15 - if works are unnecessary for salvation as many Protestants believe, then why is a man saved (not just rewarded) through fire by a judgment of his works?

Matt. 7:1-3 - we are not judged just by faith, but actually how we judge others, and we get what we have given. Hence, we are judged according to how we responded to God's grace during our lives.

I can give you at least 20 or more verses in the bible that both are requirements to attain salvation not unless you only focus on few verses apart from it's context. With this, its not magical or automatic that once you have faith good works will follow because according to St. Paul some believers will backslide before the judgement day. This is true in reality because many sect leaders and followers adhere to sola fide but in reality some are "salawayon in society" to the extent that some are criminals, to the extent some are serial killers. Now how can you justify their faith?

Faith according to protestant/Evangelicals/Reforms/Baptists/Born Again is like a state of Mind separated to good works. This is where James gospel was very critical to this kind of doctrine that according to him faith is justified by good deeds and faith is dead without good works. based on the wholeness of the message of the bible good works and faith are inseparable requirements when you face God on judgment day. Did you know that Martin Luther the first leaders of your church desperately tried to remove James gospel from the bible but failed because it doesnt fit to his erroneous doctrine which is sola fide?

You can do good works without any Faith at all - So there is a chance a person will Do good things because its a requirement for salvation but actually he doesn't have any Faith at all - But you cannot apply that situation on Faith.
As I have said both are essential requirements for salvation. You are correct but this is only applicable to christians. Jesus even said that he has different criteria on how to judge non -Christians when he was referring to the gentiles. Since they don't have faith to him then this doctrine doesnt apply to non -Christians. In other words sola fide is illogical since it doesn't apply to all people.

Theres a chance that a person don't have any chance or time or capability to do good works But theres No way you can say that on Faith because Faith is in the Mind and heart.
Good works don't mean extraordinary things for humanity because all of us can do small things during our short stays on this world but small good things is already a participation of the saving gift that he has given to us. In fact compassion, affection, gentleness, and "hindi pabigat sa kapwa" to your fellow human are already good works. As what Mother Theresa said "What we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But if that drop was not in the ocean, I think the ocean would be less because of that missing drop. I do not agree with the big way of doing things.”

    1. are they really biblical.

to the extent that some are criminals, to the extent some are serial killers. Now how can you justify their faith?
    2. why are we so judgemental? Are we so judgemental to the point that Generalizing christians even innocent members of the church will have the same fate as those crimminal false christians or pastors.

The thing here is Why are you so sure they are following the Bible?
