Its the micro-switch acting up, pretty typical of Steelseries to use lower quality materials on non top end hardware, anyway it can be easily fixed by just googling on how to clean/recoil the clips. Using WD40 wont solve anything, it may even worsen the issue and damage the PCB.
I've been through that same issue with several logitech mices.
@Earlz
please do share some links !!!!
WD40 ra jd bro. ders no reason makaguba ug circuit board ni sya unless gapataka lang ug gamit ur pasirit. been using this on my electrical repairs, especially on computer contacts.
@werty
ok so first i remove the mouse cover then? Where do I apply the WD40?
By the way why do I need to put WD40?
@blizzage4 check the youtube video that I gave you. lain lang ug brand, pero mao ra na ang fix.
If dli mu sugot ang G.I ipa RMA ni then I will try that wd40 thing........
@blizzaga4, if di mo-sugot ipa-RMA, and WD40 have no effect, ilisanan jud na og microswtich.. desolder the microswitch and bring it to any electronic shops to show samples..
