i think this is gud as FPU proccessor. how many GB/sec bandwidth?
this is aweeeeeeesome!
say goodbye to Ageia Physix
ngano i-compare man gyud ang x1950xtx sa 8800gtx? nga dili man na sila parehas... mas maayo tingali ug maghulat ta sa flagship gpu sa ati for directx 10 before ta mo make ug comparisons... this is like comparing a directx 8 card with a directx 9 card... sakto kaha na?Originally Posted by KennRuss
sure we can w8 for the ATI flagship
however the comparisons has nothing to do with DX10
wa pa ta kahibaw sa DX10 performance sa G80 oi...
ang benchmark nga gigamit up to DX9 ra (or perhaps OpenGL API).. the DX10 APIs wa pa magamit ani nga mga benchmarks
so what is compared is the rendering power of the cards at DX9 threshold
correct....ATI always have something under their sleeve. Heres there forecast for the year 2007.Originally Posted by fish

thats good info... those you want to compare ati and nvidia cards should wait till both companies have release their directx10 flagships... then that would be a fair comparison...
this is the trend nowadays, when they introduce a new graphics chip they must see to it that it could outperform the current technology in twice the bandwidth and FPS..just like the 9800xt and 6800 ultra.
what's not good here is that ATI seems just playing catch up with NVIDIA ever since the 6XXX series.
i would wanna see both company's (ATi & NVidia) release a high-end video card on the same date,....
i hate it when one company releases there new GPU and the other company waits for it,...... so that they can test it and see where they can improve on,.... so that there GPU can be faster,.....
(but i guess they have to do it this way,..... its all about business and marketing strategy)
OK, the review of the card
