I just thought of writing everyone here in istorya.net just to warn you and for you to be aware that SST computer shop doesn't give excellent service not even good.
I went to their store to ask for help about my laptop cuz i think my video card is suffering a bad problem. and one of their clerk is there to talk to me about the problem and for further info about the service.
when she was getting the receipt done, she asked the technician what to write on the problem cuz she doesn't know what to write and the technician suggested that it's a total block out.
To make the story short, after 3-5 days i got my laptop back with it's very clear dislpay. unfortunately after 2 weeks of using my laptop, it went back again to the same problem. and i remembered that lady told me i have a month warranty for the repair, so i went back to their shop right away to enjoy my warranty.
Regrettably! they said that the label that the clerk put to the receipt was wrong, the lady who's i think in-charged in leading the team that day said that they can't honor the warranty because the title is supposed to be "Garbage Display" and not "total block out" so i told the lady "was it my fault if your employee had mistakenly labeled it as total block out?" she insisted that the label was wrong so they can't honor my warranty and i added while watching on their technician's eyes "it was you who suggested this as total block out right? remember me?" and the technician told their leader that he remembered and he told their leader that i'm still in the warranty period but the lady still insisted that they couldn't do that because the label was wrong!!!....
i was so so angry with how they treat me as their customer, they kept on ignoring me, and what's worst
?? the lady in-charge wasn't even talking in front of me or straight at me. Do they even have respect to their customers? i have a problem and i need help and what you get is being ignored?
i asked where's that employee who issued me a receipt and they said she was on her leave. and i followed up asking, "can i have her number so that i can call her?". and the lady in-charge said they don't have her number.
OH MY GOD! ARE THEY LAME? THEY DOESN'T KNOW THEIR EMPLOYEE'S INFORMATION

so if you know this shop, i'm just warning you, what's the possibility that they will treat their other customers better than they treated me? i was doing my best to talked and asked them properly and calmly.
so i went to repair shop, somewhere at eMall, and i find comfort in there. they said even if you'd lost your receipt they'd still honor the warranty because they usually put stickers on the area they've repaired for the warranty. they're quite expensive though but worth it.
