leaving us with the question ...
BUCKS to BURN?
but for creative content creation..intel has it.
but with BANG FOR BUCKS.. ATI|AMD is Pretty still in the game..
perfect examples are the AMD 880 + X2 BE | X3BE | Thuban X4s ( into x6 )
..
proces: x4 945 = 6000p
board gigabyte 880gm-ud2h=4000p
500g= 1400
silverstone 500w= 2700
kingston 1x4g ddr3 1333=1900p
casing baratuhon kay unod man kaha imu nahan nindot=1400
5770=6800
tanan around 24000,
naa pa kay 6000 sobra pili nindot monitor
AMD x6 paired with a good and high end vidoecard.....i don't think the performance gap is far if compared with a same specs intel platform, but i'm sure of the price gap...........
Just wondering, is AMD still worth the purchase these days? I was looking around the interwebs and saw a similarly priced AMD/Intel system at different price points and Intel came out on top in about 98% of the tests and always on top in gaming/rendering. I do understand the price difference from the U.S. and in the Philippines is substantial.
for me i would go intel. practically speaking its just a one time expense. yes, intel set-up is quiet expensive. but on the bottom line "power consumption" is one big factor compare to amd. just my 2 cents.
