    Thanks.
for a topic to be deemed sticky, the thread that you have created has some interesting points to ponder, has some/many great discussions to tackle, any valuable/pertinent information that can contribute much to the site..

being a moderator just to put your thread as "sticky" is not the answer..

also, the mods will run through the thread and if they find something that can stir up, then they have the power to put it as "sticky".

daghanag tubag uy..... ang question was just...

"how can i make a sticky post?"

THe answer is simple as YOU CAN'T.... Even if you beg them to stick your thread.....

its the moderators prerogative to stick your thread or not...

and applying to be a moderator is not an option......

LOL. this is a joke, right?

you don't have to be extremely smart to be a moderator. moderating boards is such an elementary job. all you have to have is basic computer knowledge and a thick face. i know --- i used to moderate my own forum before.

I said making my POST sticky in my own thread. And not sticking the Thread. Isn't it clear?

And note, this is a very old thread (5 years) that I had to dig up. The people that answered before my post are probably not here anymore.

    Thanks anyway.

what you meant was like in SMF nga ang imong first post ma-sticky sa kada page.
that will eat more server resources if we apply that to every thread with a forum of this size..
for the meantime, the readers will just have to read the first post of the first page before posting their replies para di sila magpataka ug tubag.

sorry for the wrong replies of other members, they were reading the first post, not your post mao nga kana maoy ilang tubag, they thought that the author was the one asking.

Yes. Probably only in those threads that need this such as Buy/Sell Threads. But anyway, just asking if this was possible. No problem of the members replying without reading properly.

Just wondering how expensive is expensive. I never got around to see how vbulletin is doing the 'querying' but it should be just a flag to denote a post is sticky...but anyway, if there's no option for that then just leave it as is. Thanks
