The military has already said that ""This is unacceptable because undue harm is already inflicted on the soldier." the reason why the program was stopped.

and you still insist it is training? training for what?
These soldiers are in the military so they can feed their families, must they endure physical and mental pain to be in the job? this is torture.

He said trainers who acted as opposing forces were only authorised to threaten the trainees with force but not subject them to real harm.
In most cases, he said, the trainees were only blindfolded as they were made to listen to their colleagues faking torture screams in a bid to scare them.
These "trainers" should watch Nat Geo's Surviving the Cut, now that's training (for spec ops). You don't need to bend to counter-productive psychological pressure to develop a soldier's resilience to captivity. They're simply giving in to the sadistic tendencies of some trainers. If it has really been outlawed, then I applaud the move. There's no need then to divert the issue to the source but face it head on. After all, truth is a far more better weapon in the propaganda wars.

Hazing is just stupid. We are trying to produce professional soldiers not gang members.

for the armchair generals in these forum: what kind of training you would like for our armed forces? what do you think is the "proper" training? have you/have not undergone any military/paramilitary/law enforcement training?

The Chinese military doesn't do this. And yet, surprisingly, in a war between the Philippines and China, China will win. In one day.

Sad but true. This training is laughable. Our army is laughable. AND OUR NATION IS LAUGHABLE...
