I think the "Outreach Program" thingy which IMAX first said is a really good advice bro, though your gonna really have to save for it and pull a lot of strings to really make it successful but I tell you, from experience.. it's hard organizing Outreach Programs and things like that but it so much worth it! and frankly I think it really helps with the bond of the relationship.
Me and My Friends do it during Sinulog and on the Holidays and just lately it has become some sort of a good activity for us and our girlfriends.

but if your not up for that, well... you can try a new sport.. something both of you are not familiar with, Tennis, Bowling, Martial Arts, Boxing, Swimming (not really advisable), Jogging, Yoga, Hit the Gym maybe ... just think out of the box and do something new....
Spend time with each others family or host a little salo2x for either family.

or the typical inuman and get together with friends will surely do the job...

Ohh and dont do it in a place just outside/near your school or the billiard hall or the spot beside the computer cafe... do it in the beach or a disco bar would be better...
