    In fact all you have to do is go out around the city and find a nice buddy who you can make friends with and converse with him on the language... Im pretty sure there are wonderful and warm loving cebuanos and cebuanas that would gladly volunteer in helping you with your cause.....

    you can also learn by reading those cheap tabloids, read it allowed with someone who knows cebuano. You can learn faster this way since you would understand intonations since you would be corrected on the spot. Friends of mine who also grew up in the US too did this and now they speak pretty well like a locals.

    I can volunteer. Let's talk in Skype, and maybe by talking to you I can also improve my English which is kinda bad

    I have some dictionaries and books written by missionaries, and they seem to be very good.

    I guess I just need more practice and study more.

    Istorya is a good avenue for you to learn our language quite easy bai... just hang out here often, read other threads and come back in this thread with terminologies you would like us to translate for you...
