its because of the educational system. those minor subject are given to students in high school in the western countries that is why the college years there are shorter but the high school years are longer. those subjects are essential in whatever field you take although i must emphasize that PE is probably the most useless

Studyante pa ko. I have already seen how important they are especially when students will graduate and have a job. I am a BS-CompE major in Software Engineering.

Gamit kaayo ang Psychology, History, English, PE, ReeD, Filipino, and other minor subjects sa among course. Lingaw-lingawi lng na ang mga minor TS. Don't stress too much.

PE promotes good health, social skills and etc.
imagine with out PE, 8hrs of school + 4 hours of DOTA

I handle production & demand forecasting (statistics), public relations (English & speech classes), sales (economics), marketing (business trends), events (CWTS, LTS, or ROTC), customer service (speech, law, and even sometimes religion), plant expansion & upgrades (physics and engineering). At this era, employers are more inclined looking for applicants with a lot of skills. In other words, someone whose well-rounded in all aspects. you are right...minor subject is important...

if you have complain for minor subjects go to the CHED office para makahibalo kung nganung naa na sila....

    Helps a lot..
You will not be whole w.out these
    hated minor subjects...
You are to be good at all dimensions..
    Physically, to have P.E...
    Emotionally, to have Psych..
    Spiritually, to have ReEd..
Intellectually, to have Math or Sciences..
    Socially, to have organizational meetups..
    and the like..

So, dont take your minors for granted..
You will not graduate without passing all of them..
