I think they might be following MSI's Big Bang X-Power but we honestly won't know how it performs unless they release more details. Even the big bang's audio wasn't as good as a discrete one so i wouldn't get my hopes up. I recall one review site going as far as calling the Big Bang's audio a 'gimmick'.

True, I think all of the onboard X-Fi based sound solutions are still software/cpu based and performs differently compared to the discrete card.

My question is, aren't they killing their own sales when they offer the same features on similarly priced boards (ie. UD4, UD5, UD7)? the only difference i can tell is how it looks... Unless I'm missing something, I believe they are overlapping their own products which is a bad thing.

on a side note, somebody should really tell them to get rid of all that legacy stuff that's on there.
I don't think this would be competing on the existing offerings. This will be a socket 1155 and looks like anx58 chipset from the chinese site. The "UD" markings has been dropped as well in favor of "Killer "( assasin, sniper, guerilla)

^^ must be a marketing thing to get ppl to buy x58 boards since sandybridge is out.

memory frequency of 1066/1333 mhz seems kinda low....i hope the site/translation is wrong. Funy how the network card is translated to - "killer 2100 murderer netwrok card' hihi
