best cream puff i had was in the US. forgot the name but i just bought it from Costco. gi freeze nako dayun pag abut sa balay and after a few hours, the bread was still soft but the filling was like ice cream. pirting lamia.

traditionally in france cream puff is filled with whipped cream and dusted with icing sugar, eclairs which is made the same way as cream puff but oblong shaped is filled with custard and glazed in chocolate. profiteroles looks like a cream puff but its filled with ice cream

Idk with cream puff but to your other q on ice cream cake,
decent ones I love are in Dessert Factory. Their pistachio and
peanut butter banana ICC are good
