bay salamat sa pagreply ninyo ha... kuan bay naako ip address sa dsl. din ako na gi configure...ang ip address kay naaman gihatag..unsaon man ip address ako ibutang sa local area mag start og 192.168.0.1?din subnet 255.255.255.0 din ang gate ang i.p adress niya?unsa pa lain fill upon. wala man gihapon internet sa lan gud.. ang server naa.. unlimited mani amo dsl ?

ok how to share the internet.

following are the most common ways

1. u gotta have a server wth two LAN cards. why? the first lan card is for the modem of ur dsl the other lan card will be connected to ur switch to share the internet to the other computers.

2. if ur modem has a built in router (i love this very easy) u just connect it directly to ur switch and via dhcp it will automatically give ips to ur lan computers and share the internet. (but u must set the pc to obtain ips autmatically).

if ur planning to use the number 1 method

just use the built in internet sharing software of windows if ur using windows and if ur server is linux use firestarter firewall to share internet.
