These Filipinos took this path and i will not blame these countries sentenced them with DP. I just hope the Philippine government will not intervene. I don't believe it's "kapit sa patalim" and can't think of it was orchestrated by syndicates and let them act as OFWs - it's plain and simple they took this path - easy money.

PS. OFWs are not bayani ng bayan - in the first place they don't work on their own land - they work for others land.

And the money they make, they send back to the people in this country, who spend it and stimulate the economy. Are you sure you know what you're talking about? OFW remittances are about to hit $21.3 billion. 21.3 billion US dollars.

If they all went home out of some misplaced sense of nationalism, this country might as well go to the crapper. OFWs keep this country's economy afloat.

There was a show in National Geo or ABS-CBN about this.
Luoy au ng mga drug mules kay i-threaten pa lamoyon ug several plastics of drugs then ila ma excrete...hopefully...

If dli nila ma excrete, someone's gonna cut the open. So better be wise enough not to accept fishy offers when you travel abroad.

actually the government had issued warnings to all filipino travelers ofw or plain tourist about this but it was simply ignored it.

if somebody asked you to bring a package have it opened before receiving it.

most of these mules are part of a syndicate and excuse ra na nila ang naay gipadala na "package"

so ubang mga babae dinha ingat pud kung naa moy uyab na langyaw kay some of these women are one of the many girlfriends/wives of members of these syndicates and would ask these "stupid" women to transport these drugs themselves.
