Android suppose to be can be upgraded to a newer version as long as the unit was not locked by the original manufacturer...

I have a friend in US tried to upgrage with this same model and has encounterd some problems like...some of the manual buttons won't work properly...hehehe!!!

which version? 2.0 or 2.2 because as far as i know, This Model is M700023 ond only version 1.7 were released by the manufacturer as of now... what is the model number of your item?
