it is actually a Gnostic writing. Gnostics were cults that plague Christianity during the first century. In fact, the apostles themselves refuted many of the teachings of these cult group in the Bible itself.


Imagine Reuben Ecleo to be a prolific writer of their PBMA group. He writes many things about Christ and His teachins but mixes with it his own perveted and warped ideas about Christ. Places his writings in a jar and sealed it.

Now, transport this back in time about 1700-2000 years. Coming back to our time, his writings would now become antique ancient writings. Archaologist discovers these writngs. Puts it on the headlines and BOOM!!! IT BECOMES A HIT.

There are writings of the Gnostics that are still extant now. the gospel of Thomas is one.

But this book has not been sensationalized. Maybe because it's well-known already.

The truth: What we got in our Bibles [all 66 of its books] are the accurate and complete writings.

bitaw , lots of biblical scholars are pointing out discrepancies in the time line of the 4 gospels in the new testaments.

I think,its better to learn the history of the books we so fervently believe, don't you think so??

personally, i think it was a screw-up.
and it doesnt need a bible scholar to point out these discrepancies.

i think not only we learn the history of how these scriptures, but be mindful
to the reason why it was made.look at us right now, look at how christianism
has flourished(and also i would like to mention the opposite)

a child once asked me regarding the new testament;
he asks why 4chapters are wrote by different people,
and why these chapters are all the same. he asks,
"who are they trying to fool? i can see that its all the same."

i never answered that question.it never even took that
kid to be a bible scholar.

geez, u said, the Apostle's opposed the gnostic writings of the gospel of judas? are u sure it's the apostles? last time i check, National Geographic mentioned that some Religious Romans hand picked the scriptures, they filtered it, they choose what "THEY" like, throw all the sciptures that they didnt choose, and some were burnt.

The Bible is accurate and complete? are u sure? tell me if there are Dinosaurs written in Genisis. These creatures exists but wasnt in the bible. Oh, yeah i forgot, can you find the Cave Mens and their cave drawings in the Bible? these are our ancestors, why not include them in the bible.
