HELP: Fellow dog lovers, Wants to know the most effective way for you to teach your 3 months old puppy( mini pin ) how to SIT,Down , Stay , stand and come commands? from 1st day tell moving to the next stage..this will be my 1st time to train my pup...hope you can help me guyz.

its fun and exciting to teach our dog with obedience. but at that rate in your case, 3 months is too early for your minipin to undergo basic obedience training. which i think would be more appropriate to introduce to your pup is more on socialization(direct/indirect) and exposures. let your puppy enjoy the puppyhood stage and spend more time playing. at the age they are more very active and would find somehow very difficult to start working on their obedience. since obedience training would be very easy if your dog is already has confidence and stability.

establish a good foundation and bonding with your dog. that's the key in all kind of training you wanted for your dog in the future. make sure your dog fully trusted you before your dog follows any instructions from you.

i dont believe food reward is the best way. instead, use the old positive reinforcement method. same time it improved your dog's confident with you.

yes. there is no problem in teaching obedience to adult dogs.
