Expensive camera + cheap lens, my vote goes to.

say Nikon D3/x/s + 85mm f/1.8 ... hehehe (dream, drool)

• super high ISO capabilities
• HD movie mode
• 51-point focus frame
• etc etc...

These 'little' features, that expensive lenses can't provide, matter most to me.

For me Expensive Camera + cheap lens..

7D + 85mm f/1.8

Expensive Camera do this;
- Can shoot at Higher ISO
- You can control your Kelvin
- Faster focus
- Shutter Speed
- More AF points
- HD Movie
- and others

for me it's a good body then quality lens..

but it's not a bad idea to invest(if ma kaya) on a good body initially and add more quality lens later.. hmm.. hinu.on it's hard to turn down the top of the line bodies, but in the long run the investment sa lens ang ma dugay..

Trying shooting with high level camera with a good lens, and you will be addicted to it! Just try and you will know the difference..

my vote goes to cheap camera + cheap lens... why? mao ra man akong gi own karon... can't afford those expensive ones... Kit lens forever!

Cheap camera + expensive lens.

Because lens last longer and doesn't depreciate kaysa body. Good lens line up is always what everyone plans to have.

The case of a D3 with 50mm 1.8 <<-- i'm sure a 50mm 1.4 will come sooner, or maybe more expensive lenses, kay bakya ra kaayo nga ang P150K+ body uses a 5k lens =)

Ok, klarohon nato... kung ikaw naa kay D3, mosugot lang bah ka na u will have only 1 lens (50mm 1.8 )? You were able to acquire an expensive camera body man gani, say P150K imong pagpalit. Ayaw ko ingna nga di ka kaafford ug palit ug 50mm 1.4 which is around P15K?

I'm not saying that 50mm 1.8 is a bad lens, but there is more better than that which sure na makaya paliton for a d3 owner.
