ah crap... theres a way to extract all the files on this hdd right? cause I got a lot of important files down there...hdd is defective..

yes there's a way but unfortunately if it's defective then there is a bigger chance that you can't recover all your files.. if naa ka lain pc you can mount your hdd and start backing up your important files there b4 figuring out what's really wrong with your hdd and b4 you do something to it..

ok then I got an old pc but I really need an external hard disk to do this type major extraction..... argh!!!!
