Ka dugay na gd aning pollution dha sa Butuanon river...Sad to say no improvements was seen....

dugay na ni nga problema. sad to say.. daghan mga tao from whatever agencies mahadlok mo take og action...

1.)govt. - di man au ni mka kuha og attention.. and dako pa jud gasto.. and it may look unpopular
2.) private - lisud kaau kay dili confined to one property ang source
3.) NGO's - halos wala media attention
4.) religious groups - pangit kaau tanawn nga ila kontra mga pobre..

- identify the polluting sources, let them pay the required per day fine if they continue to operate. Then finally, issue a closure order.
- then issue another order prohibiting any establishment or residential structure 150meters from the river.
- prevent everybody from dumping waste into the river by imposing heavy fines...say 100thousand if caught. 2nd offense is 500thousand plus 5years imprisonment. Firing squad for 3rd offense.

ang 2nd nmu is very hard to enforce.. wala jud political will ang leaders and di pud ganahan manghilabot ang supposed guardians of the environment

The best thing we should do, is convert the 5 meter area both sides as roads, small parks. Like Paris, Venice, and some in europe, sagaraan sa ila mga creeks, ang kilid dalan jud... Ang uban parks...

it will greatly ease out the traffic if both sides of the river are converted to roads with parks.

Kanang mangihi bisan asa, dapat shoot on sight na!
Kanang mopitik sa ilang mga candy wrappers ug upos sa sigarilyo bisan asa, shoot on sight na!
