Philippine Idol. better judges, better selection.

PDA- more into marketing. I saw the live telecast in selecting the 16. naa jud gipangkuha na aagi sa looks lang. and why add 4 more? what were their basis for adding them? Wildcards? para lang cguro to prolong the show.

i chse PI kay murag fair ang pag judge....for me, dili naman gud credible ang judging sa abs-cbn nga mga contests..murag for the sake na lang..but they already have in mind kinsa gyud ila padag-on....i was disapointed sa mga results sa ilang contests..the first katong Star in a Million (Erik and Sheryn) ug ang latest ang search for a star in a million....

i think its fair man coz the contestant should have star quality. look at PBB Season 1, they were at the climax sa ilang popularity but not for a long time, dali ra sa sila natabunan... only Sam blooms ug nidugy ang uban mostly supporting lang... and ang uban wala gani gyud....

erik and sheryn( erik is good looking mao dali ma notice gyud sa public)

si frenchy dy ( wa ko naminos ha kay i dont know how to sing sad ) wala ra sad au siya ni sikat.... mimdot sad unta gyud siyag voice...

si christian bautista.... wa daog but nsikat kay gwapo! mas sikat pang erik!

even on competitions, d lang base on talents alone it includes CHARISMA sa PEOPLE... d sad siguro muskat mga stars abs if d sila maau mu screen

I dont want to vote.=)

but allow me to share something about Philippine Idol. a close friend
of mine recently auditioned for this show. hes currently studying
medicine in one of the med schools here in cebu.

he narrated that prior to getting a chance to be interviewed
by the 3 celebrity judges, you have to pass 3 levels of auditions/interviews
by its staff. he passed the 1st & 2nd level but was turned down in the 3rd level.
(my friend really sings well and has won several singing contest(interschool lang),
he's also good looking)

so when the PI aired and showed the auditions(auditions done with the 3 celebs),
he was surprised with what csme out. some of them were really really out of tune and
you would really question why they passed the 3rd round. if you have seen it
you would really laugh at them=)

my question is, is this really a singing contest ? or is this just entertainment show like WWE,
masked behind a singing contest?

good thing PI is from IBC! at last d na gyud show sa KanGUso ang kaatbang! nauwahi sila hehehe
