Since you're using a cropped cam, you can try and check out the EFS 55-250 IS. Its around 11-12K. Its a good budget telephoto.

Since you mentioned walk around, try tamron 18-270mm. Read online reviews and you'll see na nindot cya ug feedbacks.

Ako ra jud ma-suggest sa imo ky ang 55-250 from Canon since concern man kaayo ka sa price. Naa ko ani nga lens (which I'm selling by the way) then iyang overall performance is far better compared sa mga 3rd party lenses of the same league.

18-200/270 yeah handy as a walk-around but most of us naman knows that you sacrifice a great deal of IQ/performance due to the end-to-end capability sa lens.

i bought my 55-250 sa gizmo sa emall last month. limot ko pila to, but it was on sale. below 12k. palit sad ko uv filter, naka kuha ko ug P50 nga discount kay istoryan man. he hee. i also use a 450d. for its price, nice na kaau ni. lisod lang lagi kung indoors. he hee
