Martial arts do not kill people.

People kill people.


Martial Arts are forms of different disciplines meant to preserve peace, self-defense and physical fitness to each practitioner and their goals are not neccessarily to "Kill People" they are meant to suddue or to prevent any means and ways of violence by simply neutralizing an aggressor. (example: Classical Aikido of Morehei Oeishiba, using your opponent/s own force against himself in maintaining a harmonious way of life; Jun Fan Lee's "Jeet Kune Do" by intercepting any attacks before it is launched)

Philippines' martial arts of stick fighting (Escrima or famously known as Arnis de mano or simply arnis) Can be performed with sticks or bare-hands.
(famous clubs here in Cebu: Doce Pares, Balintawak, Tres de combates and of course countless other clubs and universities...)
