Does it really matter? ATI doesn't even make cards, just the chipsets. So you can't buy an ATI branded card. Unlike my old ATI on my 386 that was really supposed to have been made by ATI, usually lain ng manufacturer. So whether or not my card is branded ATI or AMD isn't as important as the specs.

there are still built by ati cards called "Built by ATI" =)

unlike nvidia they cant produce a card not even GPU's alll the manufacturing they do is handled by TSMC and flextronics ( for high end )

Is there a store here that sells "BUILT BY ATI" cards? I'm currently shopping for a new card. Been looking at the new 7 series Nvidias, and they're all made by other companies.
