it happened to me during my Cousin's Wedding day...

i knew this girl in our religious community...
well, at first attracted ko sa iyahang voice since she sings the psalms...
then i fall into her angelic face...
then i get interested knowing her name...
this happened prior to my cousin's wedding...

so i made a way to invite her and know her more... just for making friends...
it does not mean that i have to court her or whatever... just like making friends with a lovely voice and a lovely face... in short i was charmed by all of her...

anyways, to cut it short...
i presented it to my cousin since they lack psalmist in their plans.
so i told my auntie to get her as the psalmist...
my auntie and her mom talked about it and they agreed...
during the wedding day... she didn't make it to the mass of my cousin's wedding

but i was not expecting her to come since she didn't make it...
but then again to my surprise she came at the reception together with his dad...

it's pretty embarrassing until now when i often think of it.
it's like this...

i was set-up by my auntie together with my younger cousins since they knew i have a feelings for that lovely lady...

garter of the bride was passed unto me as a set-up...
actually we were both set-up...
i have that feeling the moment the game began since i was not the one who holds the garter first when the music did stopped. i was the third guy among the cousins who got it.

so when the bouquet game was to start...
all females were called including her...
so the master ceremony told the ladies that all relatives of the groom and bride are automatically disqualified since she was the only one who is qualified or it was perfectly set-up...

i was so silent then and can't stop smiling at it that i was falling into the pit wherein i was set-up by my relatives... and my aunties and uncles were teasing me including my younger cousins and also with the bride and groom since we are very close to each other. well, it took me 8 mins to decide to kiss her since it is a part of the game...
but prior to that since i don't want to take advantage of the kissing scenario... the master ceremony asked the dad if it's okay to kiss her...
well, the dad was joking about going home early...
i was really ashamed of the set-up...
then i was asked to ask blessing from her dad...
so my auntie scolded me because it took me so long that it will consume most of the time...
so i obeyed my auntie who is the mother of my cousin who is the groom.
so i asked the hand of the father and bless...
so everyone was practically laughing at it... and i was d@mned ashamed of it...
then the MC told me again... since you did asked the blessing from the father... then you may kiss her as well since the father gave me the blessing... so they decide where to kiss... everyone says lips... i declined. and everyone is making comments but to make it short i kissed her in booth cheeks...

geezz... i can't believe i've shared this awkward moment in my entire life...

anyways, it didn't stop there...
she sung a song and her co-singer who is also a member of the community was teasing both of us and keeps on calling my name over the mic... i stayed away so as to lessen the shame... when the singing was over... cousins are dancing and she did dance as well... so they called my attention to join the dancing... so i went on and dance with my cousins... but not for long because my auntie and cousins are pushing the issue to have a dance with her... so she made also a comment in which it gave me reason to dance with her "Gi-kapoy naman na sya" so i was challenge with that statement so i danced her on the floor and people are watching over us as if we were the groom and the bride. well, that was one of the happiest and joyful experience i ever had in my entire life... i don't know if it will happen the next time... but i guess that was it. too bad she already had someone special. well, just hoping she could be my wife... just hoping GOD will intervene with it again... heheheh
