help me chose a processor, which processor is the fastest in a laptop

bai junmar i check the other components.

I think the amd is single core and single thread 1.6ghz
the intel is double core and double thread 1.3ghz

i found info on the intel but not on the amd processor.

is it true that double core is faster regardless of the ghz.

i dont have any experience comparing computers.

Your concerns:
1. which is better for someone who opens a lot of browsers and download stuff.
2. i just dont like it when it takes alot of time to refresh a webpage.
3. listining to internet webcast and music.

The clock speed difference of .3 is hardly felt if you use your lappy with your concerns (applications you are going to use) . I'm a bit confused when you said that "I dont care about the battery life" when it is an essential most specially when you are downloading stuff ( imagine yourself running out of battery in the middle of your download ). Web page refresh depends on how you use your web browser (you have to clear your cache, history etc. once in a while) . I suggest you go for the package 1 for the following reasons: 1. Battery Life 2. Most recent RAM its already DDR3
