not really... depende rpd I have EG surplus sunroof edition mga manual... so far ok mn... pwde pang daily ride pwde pd pang lumba hehehe...proper maitenance lang pd...bsn surplus or local.. maintenance lang dyd....
okay ra man mo buy ug surplus as long as good quality imong pilion....mau jud test drive, or if pwede down lang sa ka 50% then test drive nimo for 2 weeks aysa pa nimo impasan kung okay jud ang unit...pro kung dili pwede nimo ilisan ug lain.....kung mga kia nga surplus...daghan na jud kau parts so okay ra mo buy ug mga Kia surplus...pili a lang jud ang good quality...kay daghan ra ba sad nangawas nga cge lag ka guba...kabantay jud ko sa dalan daghan mabilin nga mga sportage....but if you have enough money...go for brand new bro...la juy hasol and comfy kau ang ride...humot bag-o....hehehe
kung japanese brand pud diay....be sure nga ang pag convert gamit ang convertion kit....ayaw jud tong gi mano mano lang ug welding...hehehe....pro sa mga multicabs...i think na perfect na ni kay dugay na gud natong ning gi pang import....nindot naman gani karon ang mga knock down kay la na gi putol ang chassis...
well, if you buy used cars, whether local or surplus, you really need to set aside some money for repairs. 'coz it's not really a guarantee that it's perfect. there are even brand new cars that have problems after a few weeks of usage.
worse, some repairs may cost more than the unit...
local units are indeed much better especially if you know that the owner knows how to take good care of his/her vehicle.
I heard that some surplus cars in Manila are being stopped in traffic by policemen and asked for the ax declaration.. Also in some LTO office like Bacolod thy don't allow registration of surplus cars, is this true?
