ang ako na experience kay ni sakay ko dapit sa C.I.C. nga school. padung ko sa UP.
tuyoon jud nila dili pag on ang meter kay doul raman. kung dili nimu ma bantayan dako ilaha singil nga plete.. nakig away jud ko sa driver kay mahal iya gi singil. naa pa lang ko sa asilo. P60.00 na iyang gi ingun. kay na bantayan man dayun nako sa asilo na.

I have experienced this more than once. The worst case was with one very fresh driver. I asked him, "Nong, asa imong meter?" and he simply told me, "Naka-ON na." However, I insisted that he let me see the meter. Sos, naa diay tabon iyang meter. He lifted the cover reluctantly. Pagkuha niya sa tabon kay P40.00 na ang patak.

He said his other customers are fine with the arrangement since gipatawag man daw ang taxi. How fresh! On top of the metered rate, ni demand pa jud ug add-on na P50.00! Gisaput jud ko. I told him that's against the law, blah blah blah. Had I not been in a hurry, I would have quickly taken another taxi. Some people really make a living by taking advantage of other people. The same driver had the galls to return the cover.

After having received a fair amount of nagging from me, the sneaky driver agreed that I pay him the "correct" amount. Sad to say, I was still at the losing end. He told me he didn't have any change because "bag-o pa kong gawas sa garahe." It was 9 a.m. Sheesh.

maglagot jud ko anang taxi drivers sa airport pirting ka overprice. kanang dili yellow cabs ha. minatay lagi pangayoan man kog 5oophp padulong fuente. nayabag na c ya.

Aren't those yellow cabs supposed to use the meter? Flag down is P70. Each increment is P4. I-report na jud na if nangayo ug "fixed fee."
