You'll never know who's gonna leave a visitor message on your Profile.
Could be your friend, your crush, your office mate or somebody who's interested to buy your second hand cellphone.
Or it could be someone who you just had an argument with in the General Discussions forum.
Perhaps a thread crapper that you reported to the moderators.
That is the purpose of moderating Visitor Messages.
You wouldn't want somebody to post harsh comments and undesirable messages on your Profile.
You are given an option to review the message and approve/disapprove it before it can be
viewed by the public. In this way, only those pleasant comments will be read by other members.
It does not require a moderator to approve your visitor messages.
The owner of the Profile can approve them like what others have been doing.
-----
A moderated visitor message in your Profile looks like this:
On the right side of the message you will see a check box.
Check the box if you want to manage the message.
At the bottom of the page, there is a drop down selection box.
Select an option from the list.
Click the button and you're done.
.
